Everyone, regardless of religious affiliation is welcome to order through UCRD. Although many of our customers are United Church congregations, ministers, and members, we also count many others among our loyal friends. If you're looking for books and resources for spiritual guidance, personal reflection, or just plain good reading, we're here for you.
Can I order if I live outside of Canada?
We only accept orders through our website from Canada and the United States. If you wish to place an order and live outside these countries please e-mail our order desk and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What about trade and resource centre orders?

How do I pay for my order?
All Web-based orders are paid by Visa, MasterCard, or UCRD church charge account. Your credit card will be charged at the time your items are shipped.
How do I create and account?
You can create an account by either clicking on the "My Account" link at the top of each of our website pages or by adding items to your shopping cart. When you go to check out your purchase you will be prompted to either log in as an existing customer or create a new account. A valid e-mail address is required to create an account.
What if I'm having a problem with my credit card at checkout?
If you've successfully registered for an account but can't enter your Credit Card information, it is likely due to a problem with your web browser. There is a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer 9 and UCRDstore that we are working to resolve. Please use another browser, or call UCRD to place your order if you experience difficulty.
Can I open a UCRD charge account for my church?
Most United Church congregations, pastoral charges, presbyteries, Conferences, and incorporated ministries are eligible for a UCRD charge account. If you do not know whether your congregation or ministry has an account, contact Accounting to get the information or to arrange a new account. All others are invited to pay by credit card.
How much are shipping charges?
Shipping charges are based on weight and destination. Complete order shipping and handling is reflected during the check out process. There isn't a shipping and handling charge on backorders.
How can I confirm my order?
After successfully completing the check-out process you will recieve an e-mail from our order desk confirming that your order has been received.
When can I expect my order?
Orders for in-stock merchandise received before noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday to Friday will normally be shipped the same day. Our regular method is by Canada Post Expedited Parcel, which gives the best balance of economy and speed, along with the ability to track. Delivery is normally within 3 - 5 days to major centres; 7 days to most rural locations.

What about back-ordered items?
Items that are temporarily out-of-stock when you place your order will be back ordered unless you specify otherwise. We will ship you the back-ordered item as soon as it's back in stock.
Can I return an item?
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact the order desk to get a return authorization. You are responsible for paying return shipping as well as a restocking fee.

Can I get a book display?

What are product tags?
Tags are descriptors that you can assign to any product to help you organize and remember them. They're essentially keywords or keyword phrases. Any logged-in user can add as many tags to a product as he or she wants and rename or delete them later. Tags will be viewable by everyone browsing the product, and will display in a block on the product info page once it has been approved by our site.
How do I load e-books on my e-reader?
