The theme of this issue is Ways to Address Traumatic Situations. Trauma has been experienced by Indigenous, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Ukrainian people in Canada. Traumatic events such as environmental disasters, a global pandemic, or the death of special person can have lasting effects on a community. How do we remember these events in a way that is healing, a way that supports people and does not add to the trauma? This issue includes personal stories from clergy who have responded to such situations as well as ideas for trauma-informed worship and sharing a ministry of presence.
